Terms of Service

Effective date: July 7, 2026

1. Agreement

By using Frameium (the “Service”, at frameium.com), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What Frameium is

Frameium is a design discovery and reference tool. You direct it to capture publicly available web pages, and it organizes those captures into your personal library and boards for research, inspiration, and design reference. Frameium is a hosting platform for content saved at your direction — captures are initiated by you, not by us.

3. Your account

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials and API keys secure. Anything done through your account or with your API key is treated as done by you. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement to use the Service.

4. Saved content and responsibility

Content you capture or import (“Saved Content”) — screenshots of web pages, page sections, images, and associated metadata — generally belongs to the owners of the source websites, not to you or to us. The Service exists for design research and reference, which is why every item retains a link to its source.

  • You may save content for personal reference and research by default.
  • If you make a board public, you are responsible for the content you publish. Only make content public that you reasonably believe you may share — for example, publicly accessible marketing pages presented with attribution — and never paywalled, private, or confidential material.
  • Frameiumalways displays source attribution and a link back to the original site on Saved Content. Don't remove, obscure, or misrepresent the source of any capture.
  • You retain ownership of the original content you create on the Service (board names, notes, curation). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your Saved Content and boards as needed to operate the Service, including publicly displaying boards you choose to make public. This license ends when you delete the content.

5. Copyright and takedown

We respect the intellectual property of website owners and creators. If you own content that appears on a public Frameium board and want it removed, email hello@ettrics.com with the Frameium URL of the item, the URL of the original work, and a statement that you are (or represent) the rights holder. We remove reported content promptly — typically within one business day — no formalities required.

Formal notices under the DMCA or Canada's notice-and-notice regime may be sent to the same address. Accounts that repeatedly publish infringing content will be terminated.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to capture or publish unlawful content, or content behind authentication or paywalls you don't have the right to share.
  • Misrepresent captured work as your own, or use the Service to build a substitute for a source website.
  • Abuse the capture pipeline or API (rate abuse, scraping the Service itself, circumventing limits).
  • Interfere with the security or operation of the Service.

7. Our intellectual property

The Frameiumname, brand, software, and design are our property. These Terms don't grant you any rights to them beyond using the Service.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your content at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including the acceptable-use and copyright provisions above.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or $50 CAD if you paid nothing).

10. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada. We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and, where appropriate, announced in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
